has anyone had luck with taking cuts and placing straight into rockwool no additives or rooting hormones, also curious if straight into soil would work as well without any. ive had success with using both with rooting hormones but i dont have any right now and needed to take some cuts. which would have better success soil or rockwool?

If you have the right amount of air and water, cuttings will take root within 5 days in any medium. You can pick up a nice aerocloner that will root 24 cuttings in five days for $69 on eBay and Amazon.

For a cheaper route, pick up a $10 aquarium pump with an aerating outlet on it and make a aerocloner out of any bucket, pan, or bowl.
