Closet Blue Cheese and ufo roadrunner grow! humidity ?

Well this is my first grow by myself. My past grow was done wih a friend with some bagseed and both of our plants turned out to be male. sooo this time i took another route. Buying my seeds online was easier than i thought. They got to the us in very little time (8 days) and were in great condition upon arrival.

I germed them for 2 days and all 5 of my BC germed and so did the Roadrunner. Now i have 6 plants under 2-26w 6500ks for now... today im goin to order, i think, 2 65 or 85 watt cfls and buying some more 26 watters too. but im in no real rush since my seeds havnt popped through the soil yet soo. that brings me to my first question. The temp/hum in my closet is at 82 degrees with light on and the humidity is at 70-75. should i try to gain a higher humidity for seedling growth?

No, you're fine.

Too much humidity slows evaporation through the leaves - which slows water uptake through the roots - which slows growth.

Keep an eye on your soil, make sure it does not stay dry, seedlings can't tolerate too much drought. Mist the leaves with clear water if you're concerned about dryness.

hey thanks! yeah ive noticed how good the drainage is in my soil mix. the soils surface has been drying fast.

When I get dry surface in a seedling cup, but wet underneath, I mist the soil top with a sprayer bottle to even soil drying through the depth of the cup.

Watering when the top is dry but the bottom is wet can cause root rot in the breathing roots - some of the roots need to dry out between waterings.

Keeping the top moist while the bottom dries will kill the roots in the dry area, reducing your root ball sized. It's a balance - soak and dry, but cups can dry unevenly because they're so small.

yeah thats what ive been doin. hopin i see some stems poppin pretty soon. im thinking of doin some lst and a scrog but not to sure yet. i heard blue cheese isnt a bad strain for scrog.
