You DO have drainage holes in the cups right? Not trying to call you an idiot or anything, but sometimes people forget.

yeah it does cause hot spots but it IS relflective regardless of what some people say. Use the dull side of the foil though I believe I have read somewhere that it is less efficient at creating hot spots

Miracle grow could be the reason it is growing slower than usual. I bought two clones and put them in miracle grow and they started dying instantly. You should look into all natural soil when you move them to bigger pots.

these people are crazy. I cfl gro and ur need way more light. what i did was took a box a dishwasher came in and painted it white. Then I had my 2 clones under 2 23w cfls EACH. with a fan in the corner for airflow and a humidifier on for humidity. Then after a month (if doing it from clone) i move them. I got mine in a grow tent now in flower under a 300wcfl and 125wcfl BOTH RED so 425w of red and 4 23 cfls with blue for mixed spectrum. so over 500w now in flower. and thats straight watts not incadescent or w/e. for veg if i was you I would just put them in the biggest box u can find so they have room to grow and paint it FLAT WHITE. dont use foil cause it causes hot spots. put a small fan not directly blowing on them at first cause it will be too strong most likely. and get a garage clamp reflector and a socket splitter and 2 23w cfls and ur good for 1 plant. heres some pics of mine.
