Closet grow, Will this work?

Hello everybody and thank you in advance for any help that you may provide. I'm starting out in a closet that's 19 inches wide by 66 inches long and 8 feet tall. I've set up a pretty nifty dwc system with a pump return using a reservoir and 4- 3 gallon rectangular storage bins connected and circulating with PVC. I've purchased advanced nutrients grow and bloom along with the rhino and bud candy additives. My medium is hydroton pebbles and I'm using 3 inch baskets. I want to purchase the Apollo horticulture 400 or 600 W HPS/MH combo light (I would be using only one light at a time) and was wondering if I could get away with doing so (heat wise) by having only an exhaust fan at the top of the closet, a standard room fan blowing on the plants in the closet and an inlet fan moving fresh air from the room into the closet. Will this work or will I have to figure out a way to pump some AC into the space to cool the light and get the space to a happy, optimum growth promoting temperature? Thanks again everybody

Not sure if it will work, it probally would... I would get a bigger rez for one thing. 3 gallons and u will run into problems. I would get something in the 8-10 gallon range.

Could you be more specific , what problems will I have with a 3 gallon res?

ok great that you went with a recirculating system. I have had extensive time with your setup (years ago when i first started). Temps are going to be a birch. I was running 800 watts of cfls and temps were a birch so an hid lite is going to be extremely hot. Start planning in getting some air in there. Also think about getting a lite mover ad your plants on the outsides will suffer and stretch towards the light.

That will deff work! I've deal with a 400watt hps by using only 3 small comp fans! as long as your temps stay lower than 90+ you'll be good! I've had days were temps go up to 100+ and yet each and every single one of my strains have made it thru!

your reservoir needs to be all your buckets combined plus an extra gallon for the lines and 2 or 3 gallons for backup. so 15 to 18 gallons should do it. any less could be problematic

Your starting your first grow in a recirc dwc? Sounds harsh to me but good luck. If that doesnt work try coco hempy. I get almost standard hydro results with NONE of the headaches. I can take care of my entire room in less than 5 mins a day and dont have to worry bouts pumps lines or res failures

makin it thru is one thing. Growing quality bud is another. 100 degree temps wont get you quality bud. There are 4 controllables in marijuan or any plant for that matter. Food, water, light, temperature fuck with one of those and you sacrifice quality. Two or more and you sacrifice quality and quantity.

Please forgive me if this sounds dumb but won't a 15 to 18 gallon filled up res cause the other small three
Gallon buckets to flood over?

Recirculating system means that the water recirculates via a pump and gravity. If done correctly you could have a 50 gal res and it wouldn't overflow.

I respect the way you think and see things,
And honestly I've tried indoor and outdoor grown medicine and I'll stick to my Mother Nature, were temperatures range from 70-90 or so, but yea everyone has it's own opinions, I do think every strain is different and some just don't do good in high temps! Peace.

Prolly not my last place was a bit bigger. I ran a 400, had a huge box fan in there, and a air cooled light and still fought the heat, so humid after watering (soil) u might be able to buy idk it's gonna be a fight in my opinion

What are the possible problems I may encounter from having too small of a res? I'm guessing too small a margin of error when adding nutes is one of them?

In a lot of the recirc dwc examples I have seen, the res is the same size as all the other buckets?
