CO2 enrichment - question about air exchange in night time

Hi there, this is my 3rd grow and I’m thinking of adding CO2 to my new sealed room during winter, did some research of co2 enrichment across the forum but I could not find any infos on the intake/exhaust at night time when lights are OFF, do you keep air exchange during night time or is it OK for those plants sleep without any new air coming during that 12hrs sleeping?

Outlet #1: connect with split Intake FAN and Exhaust Carbon Air Filter

Outlet #2: connect with CO2 regulator and 20 lbs tank

Outlet #3: Night Light is not connected (optional)

Outlet #4: connect with Dehumidifier

During day time, the Saturn 5 controller monitors the CO2 levels in my room, when it falls below 1500PPM it will trigger the regulator/solenoid to release CO2 out until it reach the set point which is 1500PPM then switch off. Intake fan and exhaust both are ON when temperature reached the set point let say 85F and of course the CO2 stops release gas out once intake and exhaust kick in. Dehumidifier runs independently and only kicks in when it reads below or reaches set point.

Another question is at night time when every device is OFF including intake and exhaust since they are connected to the outlet#1 then how do I get the air exchange in/out my seal room though?

There is absolutely ZERO need to do an air exchange with a sealed co2 room. When you open to hit your door doing work will be good enough. Been running co2 for about 9 cycles now.

^^. He's correct! Never needed at lights off. Your Co2 controller should have an option for lights off. For mine I have it set to 0 for lights off.

I'm on AP too. Easy to use and very easy to calebrate. Fuzzy logic!!!

I've read some other posts saying that plants do need some fresh air during night time though. I 'm a little confused now, I had mine with intake/exhaust ON 24/7 no CO2. Are you saying that only OSI FAN are ON and all other devices are completely OFF during night time? I usually feed them 1 hour after lights are ON cycle 8am-8pm, and would not step to room after 10pm in dark so basically there will be no air exchange in the room for at least 10hrs dark and is it still OK? Sorry this is my 1st CO2 cycle and I'm a little nervous
@ DEMON: I check out the Autopilot, can I hook up the Heater in winter or AC in summer for the Heating Output?

If you have a sealed room your Co2 levels should be fine with lights off. When my lights go off my levels are 1300 PPMs. Before lights on my levels are 900-1100 ppm's. My room is sealed. I do not get any outside air Exchange with a sealed room. There is no air to exchange.

As for running the autopilot for heat. I don't know about that. The AP demon and myself use is for Co2 dispensing.

My rh at lights off is 48. I run 2 - dehumidifers. My ac's are mini splits. The autopilot is for your co2 not AC

2 types of rooms, open or closed, closed is closed, that is why you supplement the c02. plants make oxygen, so there is no need to bring in fresh air unless you like wasting your c02, as long as the c02 is off at lights out.

I use the master greenhouse controller. Does everything but trim and water.

I use my controller to cycle on/off my ac. It's good for 14a (15a max).

Demon: how do you hook up the AC with the controller?
MA: My room is 10x10x12, what size is the dehumidifer do you think it can handle?

The bdac-2 and AP master controller have inputs for cooling, heating, deheuy, co2 regulator, and fan/exhaust option.
Just remember, these units have a 14amp max input.

I run customized temp settings, even with co2. I don't buy into the whole"run your room hot with co2" crap. Epic fail with 4lbs of fluffy garbage from too hot.

Week 1 From flip to week 6, ambient temps 81* 1.5' under each bulb. Weeks 7/8, 77* lights on. Weeks 9, 75* lights on, 70* lights off. Week 10, 70* lights on, 65 lights off. I run 1000 ppm from flip to week 8. After week to chop, drop ppm to 500. Perfect runs every time.

Demon: The AP master controller has 4 outputs and I really confuse for the cooling set up and would like to learn from your experience.
1.Cooling output: I’m thinking to use the split adapter (1) to connect the intake fan going through the light tube and (2) to connect the exhaust carbon filter
2.Co2 output: 20 lbs tank
3.Heating output: probably connect with the heater or might leave it empty for now since it is winter
4.Humidity output: Dehumidifier

Now my question is where to connect the AC and how to control the AC to release cold air when room reach hot temp though? Do you run the intake/exhaust separately so the cooling output is for AC then?

My flower room is different than most. It's a sealed room, inside a lung room.

8x12x7 built room. Intake with ac ducting taped to my intake port. Scrubber with exhaust fan. All in a big lung room. It recirculating all the cold air and co2 air. My portable ac does suck out cool air and co2. But it's minimal. My yields make up for the minimal co2 cost.

any setup advise for my AC?

You won't need heat

Set temp on ac to max low. Set desired temp on controller. Adjust set temp as needed. I have to run 2* cooler on my set temp to reach desired room temp I want.

my room is 10x10 with 4x 1k gavitas, how big of ac system do i need? Thanks!
