I breed mice, rats, and rabbits in my grow tent. What better source of CO2 than a bunch of fluffy creatures!

With your setup its just a slow stream of c02 being let out. Not much to the timing. To get the most effect you want your vents to shut off when your lights shut off. The plants use c02 in the dark if i remember right.

Plants use CO2 in the light during photosynthesis (CO2 + H2O + light = glucose C6H12O6) and produce CO2 in the dark during the crebs cycle (the opposite of photosynthesis). Regardless don't worry about timing. Simply make a sugar solution, add your yeast, and place tubing near/above your canopy. At lights on you might give the containers a slight shake to ramp things up but that's about it.

That's right...they produce c02 in the dark... disregard my previous statement :)

"ok so just mix up a batch and let it ride until it needs to be replaced right." Right

"make the batch put it in with the plants and just let it do its thing?" Correct

"do i do it with the lights on or off?" On and off. If you want to work harder you can stop the bottle up at night and release it in the morning. This is not necessary.
