I am thinking about buying a Co2 tank and regulator but I am looking at over $300 I try to have 4 plants in flower at all times under a 1000w hps is it worth the xtra expense? Co2 monitoring systems r not cheap either. thanx

Me and my old lady just go to the Mexican restaurant, and load up on beans and beer.
when we get home,w e both get in the grow-closet, and in harmoney, we fart the tune to LA COOCHA ROACHA and our plants just love it!

or get a paint ball canister, or buy some dry ice at Krogers and run a fan blowing over it.

Yes it is worth it, tank and regulator, but I would hold off on the monitor until you can afford it or see if you need it after using the tank for a couple grows.

Yes, generators are another option, exchange propane tanks instead of co2 tanks. Or you can pipe it into your homes gas lines and not have to worry about exchanging tanks at all.

Paintball canisters maximum size is 24OZ.

On all standard CO2 canisters there is a valve on the side that can be loosened to empty the bottle, just screw it out till you hear a faint hiss and leave it

You can also buy regulators for them as well.

If you plan on growing for more then 2 or 3 crops then it is very wroth the $300 cost. I get my tank filled for $35 so its alittle over $70 the whole grow and you get more bud sites and I have seen 6'' of growth in one day! If you get the hydrofarm co2 system then just get the little glass tubes to test the ppm in your room. you get 10 for $3. and they are very easy to use!!! the best thing you can do if you get that co2 system is get a digi timer so you can get the room set in 5 mins or less.

I would say yes and no... to be honest... if your doing a good sized grow.. 20+ plants I would say yes, if you know what I mean... I'm not saying all ppl that grow 20+ plants sell but comeon... lol... if your doing just a small personal grow... then no I wouldnt say it's worth it... I've grown from soil to aeroponic, from a single 400 watt hps to 7 1,000 watt hps lights... and i've used co2 in half my grows ,... I see a very little difference... even if i had the money I wouldn't use it in my next grow, which i'm taking my time on designing... I love green lol... but it's all up to you bud... we can just give you our thoughts and advice.. what you do is what you do... good luck mate and happy growing :)
