CO2 Overdose

Hey Guys!

To start, I will tell you about my configuration.
GrowBox: 120 * 80 cm
Light: CXM22 GEN 4 (50V), 9 COB's. 700W total (~ 600 net efficiency)
DWC hydroponic system. (1500 ppm now)
7 Bushes of various varieties. (5 week flowering now)
I decided to add CO2, but I do not have a sensor. How do I understand that my plants have received an overdose?
I also added a UV disinfecting lamp. (UVA, UVB and UVC mainly as I believe) - 20W. I turn it on every day for 15 minutes. And the same question, how do I understand that my plants got a burn? If you have photos I would really appreciate it. Thank you very much.

Forgot to turn my fan on! Doh.
Had a dozen cuts rooting on the floor of my veg box. Co2 was around 1200 (flower/veg, shared air).....but who knows at floor level with no circ. Blanket of doom.

Below are the worst. I tossed them.
The others were sickly looking....limp....off color. Bounced back after a week of inactivity.

Not an expert on CO2 nor have i ever used it... But shouldn't you let your plants get bigger than that before you even start using it? And start with very low amounts and slowly ween them on it so it doesnt stress them? Or am i wrong..

You are not wrong.

As for why I was running 1200 in veg........my Flower room is king.
I recirculate the Temp/Humidity controlled air from flower to veg.
It's a compromise. Many drawbacks. It's that or no veg at all for my situation.

Running gas in veg is a waste of money!

UVC is really bad for living things. Even plants. That's why it's used for disinfecting. You'd probably be better off with a reptile light if you want uv. Even UVB can cause cellular damage, it's a stressor which causes your plants to produce more trichs. That sounds good, bud dose determines the toxin. A small amount of UVB, like what makes it through the ozone layer is beneficial.
