Me and my buddy have been watching lots of diy cob builds (growmau5, greengene) for a little while now and he finally decided to go ahead and go for it and bought:
12 cxb3590s with the solderless holders and lenses
2 meanwell hlg 320-2100b
some potentiometers from amazon
canopy substrate with pin heatsinks from rapidled
some wagos, wire, powercord, thermal pads.
pretty much everything besides enough screws from rapid and they forgot our wire
went over to our hardware store to get some and grabbed some 16 gauge stranded wire for cars, rvs, etc
came back wired it up. plugged it in. no light. one of the circuits hooked up to one of the drivers looked like some of the leds were starting to light up, but just barely. the other side nothing. so im thinking ive got bad connections with the stranded wire or the potentiometers suck, or a mix of the two. I made a horrible diagram in paint thats included so maybe we screwed up there. when i head over there ill try and take some pictures. hopefully someone can help!
