Coco Nutes (First Time EVER!)

Im not sure whether or not you need to charge your coco before using it because I have never used your brand. When planning your grow and thinking of pot size, I would start at a gallon and transplant upwards. If you put a small plant into a 5 gallon bucket you might see some stress on the plant from to much water being absorbed compared to the size of the plant. If you start in a one gallon and transplant upwards your plant will appreciate you much more. I like to use the rule of thumb, one gallon for every month of life. If you were to veg for one month and flower for two, you can get away with a 3 gallon. If you are trying to scrog and allow for longer veg time, then I would consider a 5 gallon. Again, it would also come down to your space and how many plants you have, veg and flower time. Hope this helps.

Hey bro, I love growing in coco. I have never used viagrow, I use botianicare's cocogrow. Use plain water to rinse. I do it in a bathtub with hot water, seems to work for me. I also always add perlite. About 70%coco30%perlite seems to work well. You are going to want to use calmag with just about every watering. I use about a half teaspoon per gallon every time I feed or water. As long as your not planning to veg for more than 45 days I would go with a 3 gal. that way you can fit more plants in a given space. I like to add crushed oyster shells to my mix as well for extra cal. You can get like a 50lb bag for around 10 bucks. What kind of nutes are you going to use?

Canna makes good nutes. No doubt about it. If you want 8 oz per plant vegging for 30 days probably won't get you there. You will be a lot closer to the 4 oz per. 8 oz per is tough indoors. Unless you scrog and lengthen the veg
