Cold climate growing. Any tips for growing outside in Alaska?

i didnt document anything. But i tried, protekt, crossover, agsil and maybe one or two others.
My main thing was that I wanted a product that did not fuck w pH or raise up the K level.

Haha ive only smoke so called MTF once when I was like 16. It was pretty bomb, not the best ivebhad up here but I'd say if I found it again I would try it but no guarantees. I personally don't think there is a specific strain called MTF, but I sooooo hopeful there is and hopefully its better than we all remember.but that subject will start a whole new conversation.

Yeah Dr green thumb has "MTF" but I'm just skeptical of it cause its sucha widely loved strain and yet so mysterious. And little documented and I have yet to see a cut of one or a seed

well, jump on it! grow it out and see what ya got. it's a cool stain name for sure.

Its definitely on my list of strains to get, but it's pretty low right now as I don't like fem seeds.

You have some of the best light in the world in Alaska. I lived in northern Montana growing up and put a plant outside in the ground around March 20th. I came back after 9 days and a snow storm and the plant was growing through the snow. If your worried about tempature planting in the ground or raised beds keeps your Root system from getting cold. If your greenhouse is dirt I would go straight in the ground.Well being a stoner, I forgot to move a seedling from the greenhouse inside yesterday. It dropped below 26 last night and this morning I go to check the temp and its facing the sun like nothing happened! I'm so surprised, never thought a seedling barely with it first set of leaves developing could survive such a frigid night.

That's crazy! I LOVE cannabis! Everyday they surprise me. I have so much to learn and I'm super exited to put that knowledge in my brain.
Yeah I think I'm gonna plant half in the ground and put the others in as big pots I can afford. Just in case a horrible cold front came in, cause it could happen anytime early spring late fall. But I'm hopefull since its a warming planet I won't have those issues.

When sunny it get consistently over 75-80, a few days ago it was 87 in there most of the day, for 3 days. Cloudy days I stock the woodstove in the GH and it stays 70 allday.

Hahaha it happened again! I got ripped of a nug my buddy gave me and spaced out putting one of the seedlings back inside, it was the same seed as last time. And just like before it was standing straight up accepting the cool morning rays. It looks like it's gonna be a very indica dominant with fat leaves already.

It's 23 degrees outside right now and about 1 1/2 feet of snow. I have some tarps over my plant outside and a little 60 watt light I put on 15 light 9 dark.

Before the snow the night temps were getting around 37 and I was still seeing new growth.
