What efects does cold nights (in the 50s) and cold resi water have on budding plants? Are there any pictures?

Thanks

Yeah, we're seeing it now. The plants grow more slowly, and end up smaller, and the yield is less. Res temps from 60-70 are ideal.

thanks for the response.

Have you noticed and increase in leaf in and around the buds. I feel like I'm growing lambs ears. i've got all these weird sage like leaves.

once had a dog named
sage-like? You mean leaves with a single blade and stem?

I see odd habits, in between vegging & flowering, when the photoperiod has been interrupted repeatedly or when trying to re-veg a once flowering plant.

Thats what I thought too - there must be light pollution thats making the plants want to revert but I've spend time in the room in the dark period and see no light coming in.

Do you know of anything else cause them to revert?

Thanks

So you're saying its the cold? I've been hoping that was the cause but there are so many factors and things that could be wrong its just so hard to be sure.

Yes I do have purple but that is a fairly new change and not because of the strain.

Its the cold causing the purple color. In addition to the color, the cold will stall growth. Get it cold enough and just like us, the plants will die.

try an aquarium heater in the resivore and alternate your light, off during peak heat and on at night when your nice and cool in there.... if you are growing in a indoor, none climate controlled area anyhow IMO.
