Unknown bag seed from schwag
outdoor grow
6th week of flowering
fed a diluted nute mixture of 5.15.15
getting about 11-12 hrs direct sunlight a day
usually avg 81 degree temps

But the temps have recently dropped to 59-62 degrees
hadnt seen the plant for 2 days, went to tend to said plant and discovered a lot of the top and mid leaves purpling and even some being more soft and weaker...supposed to drop down in 50s and 40s today and for the remainder of the week.....im a southern boy so the cold wont last...doesn't truly stick around until late december..you guys think the purrpling is from the temp change? i have a 400w hp grow going on inside but I have NO room for this baby...what should I do?

I'd say weather change.

Even if the temps don't climb back up, you can still take it until a frost and chop it. It might slow down to a crawl, but the trichomes should still ripen a bit. Just make sure it doesn't get rained on if it's that cold. If it calls for rain, chop it. If it's not warm enough to evaporate the rain water out of the buds it'll just mold and rot.

What part of the south? I used to grow in Tennessee...

With out a doubt that is the temp swing doing that.
Your major drop in temp for the week will slow it down in overall growth. That should not be a problem if you keep running. RUN IT!
It is implied that it can be moved.
If it is to rain,,,move it out of the rain as stated above and return it to sunshine when passed.

LOOKING GOOD!
