They will go dormant for the evening, but they will be fine as long as it does not drop below freezing (32 F). How big are they? Covering them with something for the night can help insulate and keep them warmer than the air temperature.

Thanks, just covered them just in case...they still have time to go. Its supposed to be sunny and milder for a bit after this so hoping those buds have some time to fill out!

What did you cover them with? I was going to suggest 32 gallon trash cans, but it seems like your plants would be too tall for them.

Used trash bags , clear dont want to attract attention though I'll take them off early in the AM. Its 43 right now so I may be OK anyway.

Yea winter is coming...damn!! Just hoping I can get at least a couple more weeks of growing ...the long term forecast looks promising but like you said the weatherman can't predict todays weather so we'll see.

Mine are in the ground, if I had them in pots I'd move them in... maybe next year...though in the ground the have a lower profile in my backyard so... I'll try abed sheet next time...tonight is suppose to be in mid 30s gonna chance it...40 right now...watered them at sun down thats supposed to help plants retain some warmth.
