collecting and storing male pollen?

I would like to start the botanical equivalent of a sperm bank for future breeding, any thoughts on collecting and storing male pollen safely? I thought about buying one of those spice racks and using the jars so I can label them. I had a sour diesel male plant that I put outside, and now the pollen is flowing like mad. I'm planning on keeping the pollen in an outbuilding I have, but I really don't know how to collect the pollen. Do I cut the male flower and let them fall into the jars? Also how long will it last? Would it be better to refrigerate it? Does it even have a shelf life?

Sealed in the freezer may last 5 years or longer. Look into adding rice or different desiccant.

Yes I think a lot of people use those and for pollen I guess it's fine. That warning DO NOT EAT THIS SHIT scares me a little about dessicant so I just use rice. Read you bake 30 mins at very low temp to whatchamacall the rice.

Yeah, but it comes inside a lot of pill bottles, excedrin, alleive, and such. So I would assume that it would be ok?

How long should i be letting seeds dry for in like 60% humidity just started collecting seeds from my indoor and out, wanna make sure i can store these for a good amount of time, i got alot more than i calculated this is from the botton larf of 1 of 3 strains, i got them all in open jars like this , and my pollen was jarred after 1 week is that alright? Sorry guys kinda a newb to chucking. Thanks in advance

Put them in a small zip lock baggie, label them, put them inside a jar and then in your fridge. Something to absorb moisture wouldn't hurt. I have kept them viable for years like this.

I let my seeds sit for a month or so before tossing them in a jar.
