Collecting Pollen to make seeds

I wanted to know if anyone had a good link or some good info on how to collect pollen to place on a few buds to make seeds?

i had a plant that hermied and found little yellow/white flowering looking things that were covered in pollen. When I would pluck them off, I would have pollen all over my fingers. I would find them on the lower branches, on the nodes near the stem.
