Color Changing Plants!

Found a pic from chop time and then one from curing... the color in the second pic is a little off but its the only one I could find.

This thread is thirsty for more colored beauties!! Gonna take some more pics tonight when my ladies are awake, but here is a shot of the bin that is about 1-2 wks from chop....mixed in there are some blue dreams, bubbas, and chem d's. The one with the pinkish leaves are the Chem D's.

The first three pics are of some kings kushs I Just chopped and the last two pics are of a sour cream I just chopped. All grown in supersoil/roots combo

Here is a Chem D from our bag seed creations which is an offspring of our original Chem D that started this thread. This phenotype showed more of a purple tinting to the lower fan leaves which I think is more of the lower temps doing. Enjoy!:bigjoint:

The only thing I think is that the original bag seed were from very reputable medical dispensary and from strains that have a great deal of potency. The bubba strain we used from growers is nor cal so I trust it was a good male!
 
Any strain can be changed color. Some is in the genetics like purps and such. But if you want to turn a non purp to very purple drop the temperature to sixty for the last week and a half of flowering, I assure you the stem, part of the colas or flower will turn dep purple. Basically you are slightly stressing the plant, by doing this it will produce more resin glands as the plant thinks winter is coming so it produces the glands to protect itself. The color changing is also from the slight stress given in the end. It doesn't make it a purple strain just because it has purple in it. I just think it gives it more appeal in the mason jars.

heres sum pics from the strain im growing right now. its called Floja. its Flo x Double Purple Doja... i have a few budshots from a finished plant... and have 1 plant going now thats about 3/4 weeks into flowering. i will post sum new/updated pics of the plant i got going now 2morrow. (I do my weekly updates on my journal in my signature every Tuesday) the buds are just ALL purple... theres no green in them. =)

nope. not my own. got it from a friend. not sure if he created it or if sum1 else made it.. i will be crossing it will some gorilla grape and bubblegum as well.
