Gotta love it. They are paying $500 an ounce for legal weed. The price per ounce soared thru the day. I guess the new cartel is based in denver. They just set a new bar in marijuana prices. Real fools in my opinion. My shit just increased in price. I may get my new boat this spring after all.

They are paying about 17 to 20 dollars a gram at that price. Thats what decent weed sells for where I am. Although if you buy a whole ounce here the dealer would probably discount it a little bit. I think they a paying a fair price considering that its legal!

First to market has it's compensations ;D

Just wait the market will turn, the market always turns.
of course c2g... obviously when there's only a few small places that you can now buy weed legally in the state, they're gonna be charging premium prices, but as legal weed spreads, the prices will drop as well.. :D

I must admit my chagrin over the fact CA abdicated it's leadership in this issue.

Whatchya smokin'? :eyesmoke:
the reason is simple imvho.. greed, greed and more greed on the part of the growers who all voted their wallets and were afraid that they'd have to get a real paying job instead of relying on weed as an income..
of course, this is all imvho..

business was better than even the owners expected for the first day. I must say Congrats. Wonder why WA is taking so long to get out of the gate?

"I picked up Orange Diesel and Strawberry Dream at $5 a gram MMJ .... Wondering what Rec price and quality is today?.... My MMJ pick up is very good. 3.5" rock solid nugs" There are other stories abound, celebrities and such.

.
And to the 500 oz comment, 17 a gram is not that unusual at clubs now, even in other states, albeit, on the high end.

Thank you.

There's a link in this story "do you smoke pot? Tell us about it.". Now I really miss Clayton. Summoning all trolls! CNN is asking for your experiences.
Yes I miss Clayton, have thought of him frequently and hope he's doing well. I hope this is a good year for him.

I don't think it's greed as much as fear. Usually the externally greedy are a very scared bunch, one trick ponies really. I mostly feel sorry for them when I am not being annoyed by them.

Personally I have no problems paying a lil extra if it means keeping "the man" off your back and having the selections to choose from ..argh 17 hour drive for me..

This just creates another have or have not situation. You either have the money for quality product or you're getting the generic OTC schwag.

Imagine the hierarchy...you think the debates about the origin of OG Kush were bad, just wait.
