Combining fluorescent lights with HPS grow

Hi, so I have 4x 600w hps lights and the plants are now in flowering..+ I have 4 xT5 light systems which each have 4 x 54 w tubes (so they are each 216w T-5 lights, and there is 4 of them)
So now the question is that which gives better yield if the T-5's have the 2700k Red flowering bulbs or the 6500k cool blue vegetation bulbs.

The mixture of light is said to be good to combine warm and cool....but I also heard that the yield can be worse and too much leafs....so it might be better to use the Red spectrum 2700k after all....?
the yield is most important ,the strain is potent anyway...and I do have the flowering bulbs also.

Yep, its a bitch to get there and change bulbs, but I have used the red ones before beside the hps and it was stellar results...

I would mix some blue in with the red... your hps is already supplying a shit load of red...
More red would cause more stretch... You need blue to shorten stem growth... a balanced spectrum is best...

Dam, now we have 1-1 , but the race is about yield...so what is the correct answer,
to have all T-5 with blue 6500k or red 2700k (that is the bloom light made for it) tried red before no problems..just it wasn't this set up exactly ,and I added the T-5 lights after the stretch had finished of course ,when the buds started develop....so I am still a bit confused..
at least I think the RED T-5's won't produce some surprise....

But yep, I did read about the balanced light spectrum and the UVB giving more frost and higher potent weed, but this strain is high potent as it is so the lights are just for giving more yield.....

both lights will work. 6500 or 2700 . what one will have better yield . the 2700 . what one is slightly higher quality . the 6500 . but use the 2700 get the yield . then last week of flower throw in the 6500 get the quality . i say throw the 6500 into the trash buy some 10000 k bulbs for veg and for the last week flower . major improvement in the crystals in finishing . for veg my side by side 6500 k vs 10000 k . the plants responded much faster growth then the 6500 .

Thank you all , Bryan you hit the spot...that's the way I will go...I am not going to go to details how f*** difficult it is to get to the lights and change the tubes...but I will change them...the entering and moving in my grow room is millimeter precision moving and crawling in tunnels under the plants and nets in frames...I did one of the T-5 tube change in darkness with my green led forehead strapped light on ,it was like being in some Vietnam movie...some jungle sounds to the background and smoke some serious psychedelic weed could give a serious trip and a feeling that you will never find your way out from this place...

Hahaha, I love it when one goes on a mission. Makes it all worthwhile in the end once you realise it keeps you fit to boot.... Stealth and night vision... Change the optics man.... Way to go ;-)
