Give your leaves a slight tug and pull off the ones that come off easily. It will help keep the dead leaves off your buds.

Thanks man!!! Im stoked for this little lady, made a mistake in training and she flipped on me but I dont have the heart to toss a mistake plant so I let her finish and I have the biggest buds out of my grows thusfar!
You're welcome!! Don't be ashamed of your baby, be PROUD!!! Maybe it wasn't a mistake? Maybe the universe made you do it for a reason!!? Sometimes the best things in this world come from a mistake, an "accident", that just happens to result in a completely different outcome than what you would expect, something completely unique and new.

Some of the most enjoyable and memorable plants I've grown had some weird mutagenic tendencies, really keeps you on your toes and there's nothing like the first feeling you get when you see something different, something new, and your just like, wow, thats so cool! First time I saw a bud growing out of a fan leaf I couldn't even believe it, I thought a bud broke off and landed right on the fan leaf!! Lol

Even after so many years I still get surprises every now and then, its what keeps it fun and makes everything we all do worth it:D

How many weeks since 12/12? How many since first preflowers showed? Have you grown this same strain any of your last grows? Have you noticed any change in smell or any changes the last few days?

You COULD wait, you COULD let it go longer if YOU want to. I respect everyone's opinion, everyone has their preference. In the end it's all subjective. In my experience, leaving a plant to ripen with high temps can "burn" off a lot of the terps. If you can get some cooler air flowing through it may just help keep some of those flavours from evaporating away and let you take it as far as you want it to go without any compromises.

Ultimately, it's all you, this plant is the EPITOME of your hard work, caring and dedication. Whenever you decide to harvest, I'm positive you won't be disappointed, as the buds looks really, really good. Timing is not the end all be all, I personally find drying and curing to be just as crucial, if not even more so, than harvest time.

Post some pics after you trim please, I would really appreciate it.

Sorry man, but it sure doesn't sound like you have much experience.

How many days is irrelavant. The plant will be done when it's done. There really isn't a whole lot that's subjective. A plant is mature when it's mature. The only thing subjective is if you want more or less couch lock like.

Sorry, but it's getting old how many newbies are giving advice lately. Let a plant fully mature sometime and you'll know what I mean.

I respect everyone's opinions but more are leaning towards waiting a bit longer. I grew this strain last time and I harvested too early and I could definitely tell in the high. I think I've done that on all my grows. Yes I dont want to hear that I need to wait but im a master of unfavorable news so its ok, it is what it is. I'll keep her going and ill pluck as indicated and let her keep rolling. I guess you dont get experience by playing it safe every time, I need to learn the limits of the plant on both sides including over mature.

You won't regret it if you wait another 2-3 weeks. Most people harvest too early and never know what they're missing. Once you watch a plant fully mature you won't make that mistake again.

Sorry if I came off the wrong way. I've let many plants mature, in the beginning I let a few go a bit too far to the point they started to deteriorate/turn brown and it wasn't budrot, they were just at the end of their life. Sometimes they just keep throwing out new pistils and growth in the end while the rest of the plant is clearly done. Sometimes they practically scream out "I'm done" lol. I'm not saying thats the case here and clearly if he's never let a plant fully mature than its in his best interest to see firsthand, and he definitely won't regret it. The only way he can know is firsthand.

I was just asking questions, I guess it was partly out of curiosity, sorry for being interested...

I am pretty new to the site, I didn't know I had to be on here for a certain amount of time before I could simply give some advice/opinions on anything. Doesn't mean I don't have experience. We all have different experiences, that's what I love about this site, even after growing half my life I'm still learning, we all are, and will likely never stop.
Not tryin to sound too deep quotin Bruce Lee but, running water never goes stale. I'm just a drop in the ocean going with the waves.

In the end he went with his gut, chose his own path, which is the best thing any of us can ever do! Im glad he decided to let it go all the way, as he said he grew this strain before and now has the chance to push it to its limit and truly see what it can do.

Sorry, didn't mean for this to be such a lengthy response. Gotta bring my wife to the hospital in the morning and I guess I'm just releasing a bit of stress in a healthy way, please everyone send warm vibes for her.

Gonna get off here and spend the rest of my night taking care of her and spending quality time with her.

Once again though, nice work stickyfly!!

Thank you to everyone

Well sometime around September 16th she started flowering on me. Maybe the week before? Over stressed I think with too frequent of topping or something else tripped her. Here is a pic from the 16th.

Week 9/10 now?
