Hey Folks, So I have made the decision to change my shit up a bit.
Moving from Soil to UCDWC. And from Horizontal to Vertical. Grew for a year in FFOF under a 8 bulb T5HO. Moving to a 600 HID. And going from a 4 plant scrog to a 8 plant.

I'm in the process of gathering everything to make the system. Waiting till after the holiday to order everything. Meanwhile trying to source as much as i can locally to avoid redonkulous shipping charges.

Only thing I have yet to figure out is weather to run airs tones in all pots or top feed to all pots, or neither.

On the top feed line id put a valve to restrict the amount of water moving to the tops for the waterfall effect. Or I do what everyone else does and run a airpump and a bunch of stones. Any opinions on this?

Ive narrowed it down to one of these 2 designs. Need some opinions. A or B Thanks for voting guys.

with the 5 gallon buckets. They wont be directly inline, but will act as 60 degrees joints you then have the angle you need for a decagon.

If you run a big enough pump and your top feed is strong enough and at the res too, you won't need air .

And if you run the circular vert you will need to tie the plants back from the bulb and possibly lose top bucket access.

I would definitely do this with a screen in place. Going to be running a 1000gph pump.
The main difference is im not sure how the circulation would be in option 2. option 1 is fine there and very uniform around the bulb. option 2 give me access to the center a lot better.
