Yield will shrink, this is NO lie. Any major shock in reproductive stages will tend to slow or elongate flowers depending on the state of reproductive stage.

On this forum alot i have read to leave your plant in darkness for X number of hours or days. this will speed up flower cycle. For me the transition to flower is overnight. the real difference is the red. once you flood your plant with the red it replicates late day sun, this is what wakes up the young plants. most plants that were grown over a 35-50 day veg can be sexed under 18 hour lights. they will explode in massive buds. These plants are stuck. they have matured at a phenomenal pace but cant reproduce because of the photo period now younger 4-8 inch plants are still building the dna makeup.so placing these plants under stress can totally halt production while the plant recovers. this takes the power from the plant roots to fix the flow to the buds. i underwatered or overwatered plant can easily fall over in as little as 2 days. very rapidly if temps are 85+

remember this is a semi moderated message board. you cant trust everything you read. if people talked about what they do rather than what they hear there would be alot less posts here.

does the sun still shine where you live? bcuz you can always set them in the sunlight if you have windows. thats should be sufficient until you get the lights cut back on. just relax, messing up light cycles doesnt cause a plant to go hermie, it may stress it a little bit, but thats alright, it can always recover.

and actually the hormone that causes budding is killed off by light, so the less light the more "budding hormones" your plant will have, and just may suprise you when it gets a lil further into flowering.

You will be fine might cause a little shocknd worst case you will have 1 or 2 hermies if you do just pick off the male flowers they will still bud fine. I give my plants 72 hours darkness before kicking them into flower and also when I harvest.

I don't think they power company would have noticed my 8 budding plants in my bathroom window if I were to put them in an open window....if that were the case I wouldn't need HPS or......any of this other hoopla bought.....now would I??? No window was safe they were crawling all over my property... for 3 days....oh yeah & we get our sunlight pumped in up here!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think your plants will be a bit shocked but they should come good in a few days , i bet you raise strong girls with no cross dressing tendencies .
