Completed Home made aero

Just completed and tested my first aero set up, I will begin cloning my soil plants in my ez clone and then moving them to the aero once they root. I wanted some aero nute formulas from the aero growers out there and maybe some general tips before i jump in. just waiting to pick up a cycle timer.

I have tried Advanced Nutes and Dutch Master,
and I am going to use the AN nutes from now on.

Veg with Sensi Grow,
Bloom with Connoisseur,

additives are:
Fulvic,
Humic,
Sensizym.

RO, or water under 50ppm

Of course, a good pH meter is necessary.

Hey man that setup looks so dope! I do have a question for you tho. How long are you going to veg, or how big can ur plants get while being that densely populated? Are u using one light to cover canopy? I cant wait to read more about this one for real. Good luck bro

I have a bunch of lights I scored on ebay I will probably let them get 1 1/2 to 2 feet before flowering im thinking, I have 2 1000w mh and 3 400w hps that i need to divide between two rooms so i figure i will veg under the 1000w mh and then maybe bud under 2 400 w hps or 1k mh and 1 400w hps, not sure first grow in soil right now and moving to aero asap

Start low with nute concentrations and go higher if needed. Aero systems are so much more efficient you run the risk of nute burn. My drip systems work well at 900ppm whereas the plants in my aero systems cannot tolerate more than 680ppm and if I put them in to the aero systems right out of the cloner I NEVER go above 150ppm for the first week.

Nobody can tell you what PPM to run as there are so many factors involved. The advise you're looking for is the *percentages* of each additive at a particular time in the plants life. If you want a good beginner mixture look for BD97 Recipe on the web. I believe his concentrations will give you somewhere around 600ppm, but again you'll need to adjust once you see how your ladies are taking it. Basic nutes would be either the General Hydroponics or Advanced Nute 3 part (Micro,Grow, Bloom). Pay attention to the instructions and DO NOT mix the concentrated nutes together. Add each one to the water and stir before adding the next.

I assume that question was for me.

I've beat my head against the wall trying to overcome height issues even though I'm growing an Indica strain. Rule of thumb is that your plants will triple in size from the day you go to 12/12. Generally speaking (and when I start from seed) my plants are about 2' tall before they're sexually mature (showing preflowers) and ready to go to 12/12. What I end up with is a huge forest of 6' plants and it is really a waste since the light penetrates only so far.

What you see in the pics New Papaya/Kush Journal with pics is the solution.......clones. I go straight from my cloner to the 12/12 flower area with no additional veg time. What you see in those pics are (2) 20 gallon Tupperware tubs with 6 plants in each. They were cuttings 30 days ago. I root them for 10 days and now they've been flowering for 20 days. Each tub has (1) 400w HPS over it and I have a 600wHPS standing by if needed. Due to my space limitations I guess you could call this a SOG.
