Computer to Tv Cord

Hey guys, im looking for a cord that i can take movies from my computer and put them on my flatscreen tv, you guys know of such a cord? im not sure if it exists but its worth a tryThanks and peace,NG

Is it HDMI perchance? I would have to see both connection sites to be sure,I use PC to HDMI.

also it is a plasma flatscreen if that helps, im looking to use this cord to transfer movies that are not out on dvd aka still in theaters from a website to the tv, is there such a cord?
or maybe just a cord that makes everything on the computer moniter transfer onto my tv, that would work to

you plug it into the monitor port of you computer and conntect the other side to the hdmi port of your tv. Are you tring just to watch movies? xbox 360 has full divx support. This is all I would use my computer for is watching movies anyway.

yes, there is a website that i have found online and it has all the movies in the theater so i would save alot of money not going to the theaters and my girl would be really happy =)does the cord just take whats on the monitor and transmit it onto the tv? if so thats exactly what i want

cool, the reason I as is because I have an xbox360 and you can watch any movie you download on the tv. it is great. I seem to use it more for movies than games at times.

Just plug in both ends,set your properties so you computer thinks you have 2 displays and watch movies from your computer on your tv simple as pie.

Novice, do you have an HDMI out on your computer? If not then you will need an VGA or SVGA cord and an audio cord.

Or a DVI to HDMI cord

DVI would be better if your computer supports it since it is a digital signal, if not, then VGA it is.
