conflicted plant? harvest or no

okay 2nd grow, pretty successful given my first disaster. CFL, soil, 12-12 from the gun.

I'm way into flowering, swollen flowers, maybe 2/3 red hairs.

Looked through magnification at the trichs and here's what's odd. On some leaves they are almost all amber. On others only like 1/3 amber. Leaves are at the same vertical position on the plant (ie one isn't at the top, the other at the bottom).

Then the other odd thing is that the very top of the plant keeps producing new bud straight up. Like maybe 2" of new growth in the last few days. (she's starting to lean)

Is it odd for a plant to go through the last stages of flowering not very uniformly?

With nutrients and/or good soil, the plant will just keep growin. Yes marijuana is an annual, but with the right care the flowers will keep forming almost endlessly. As far as the difference in trchs, your plant may be feeding some branches more so than others, or the light may be hitting some differently. All plants do weird things and even science in this day and age cannot explain everything or make natural things conform to a uniform set of "rules". I've said it here before, it's just growing plants people, it isn't rocket science.
