Continued problem

hey guys my four way plant is 1 1/2 mo old I just had my first set of fan leaves turn brown and die about a week ago and now I'm getting brown spots on my newer growth any insight would be appreciated!

2 gal smart pot
FFOF soil
Watering every 2-3 days with 6-7 ph'd water
Every other watering is fed with big bloom and grow big fox farms ppm at 450
20/4 light schedule
Foliar fed 2 weeks ago for the first time

Post a picture if you can, kinda sounds like a cal/mag issue.

I had the same thought(pics won't upload sorry), I hadn't been using my second part to my nute line so I figured I was lacking something, everyone said not to judge from bottom fan leaves but now It's starting to form everywhere

Too much food. Cut back on the FoxFarm.

Damn just fed nutes will let her dry and stick to water for a bit.. thank you

First of all I have fed it 2 times now with it and it's starting to grow so this doesn't help

fox farm nutes are my all time least favorite

they contain zero calcium

they don't list the % amounts for all the ingredients

I stopped offering any advise on FF nutes except find something else

having said that

keep your ppm under 800 to 1000 max

as I remember

it takes 8 to 10 mls per gallon of calmag to get enough calcium in the ff nute mix

without a pic its hard to say much of anything for sure
hopefully itll work soon

in the end youll be a lot happier with another brand of nutes

right, and both times you lacked half of the rec'd mix, the half you left out..likely the half you are deficient aye?

Yup. I'm pretty sure they don't include mag in the grow. Only the bloom and some in the big bloom. So you have to use their whole system. And very lightly at first.

Yes started with half recommended dose for both grow big and big bloom and still and around 75% recommended dose

Grow big contains .60% Mg

don't remember which

says "derived from" magnesium sulfate
and then in the % info list zero magnesium

Yes also states that, but has mg soluable by water .60%
