Cool tube or air cooled hood or cooled tube with hood

Just wondering opinions, cool tubes are alot cheaper so i need to know why not to buy them

Parabolics look fucking sweet, is there an efficient way to remove the heat from those

I also went with the cool tube 600w. Less heat buildup.

Exactly thats what i have heard, what kind of reflector do you have on yours?

And what kind of ballast do you use im looking into 600 watts

It's two pieces that attach to the side of the tube they are about 4 in wide I think it's plenty of reflective surface for my 4x4 grow area

does apollo have any warrentys? and on the hood all the light faces down and you can throw a good sized 4 plants under it without reflective walls would you say?

reason why i ask is i gotta alot of space in a room and until i divide it up with wood or decide to get a grow tent i gotta make it work

I've only run with a cooltube, so I'm very curious to try out a proper decent hood. Looking at different grows and setups (here on RIU and in friend's gardens I visit) to pick one out and try it. I feel they will be better distribute light over a specific area.

Bulbs are good, came packaged really well
