cooltube cannot properly spread light

i use a cooltube with 600W hps in my tent.( 1,2 X 1,2 X 2 metre ) .

i keep the cooltube 30 cm away from the canopy,but the plants on the corners and edges can not get enough light. (i grow 7 plant in 11L pots. plants are 3rd week of flowering)

i will put 4 X 60W CFL bulbs on the corners of my tent .


how do you use your cooltube ? cooltube cannot spread the light properly in my tent.

what do you think of cool tubes? do you know the percentage of lumens lost?

well,the reflectors that come with them as i saw,look pants for a start,do you have the standaard reflector?

yes them reflectors on the cooltube do look shit, any info on the lumens lost

i say the cooltube is actually better for spreading light.
I say this cause i own a cooltube and 2 hydrofarm daystar ac's. And on the daystar the bulb sits so much higher up into the reflector that it doesnt throw as mnuch light out as it does down. Whereas the cooltube has no restriction as far as throwing light to the side

The cooltube is nice and keeps the lights cool but IMO it should really have better options for a reflector. The snap on wing does not do as well as I would like. Anyone know of any reflectors that are good to use with it?
