i do that when stoned sometimes or watching "COPS" on tv that show scares me
but really then i think hey wtf no one even knows u grow calm down
and then i realize i could have been doing this growing for 35+ years if i wouldnt have been so scared

think about this dude. if you were a cop on a forum, trying to bust someone, wouldnt you spend your time and money on a member on here that is running a HUGE illegal grow? and what are you a afraid of cops seeing you write? "i like to grow marijuana?" for all they know youre a 12 year old kid and arent actually growing pot. now if you were posting face shots of yourself, along with identifying objects in your house, and your grow was big enough to make it WORTH it to bust you, then you should be worried.

yea thats what i started thinking about after i started coming down last night. as long as you dont take stupid pictures and you keep it smart you should be fine

It's a public forum, anyone can read it. Hell it seems to have good SEO because it shows up on most of my growing related searches.

However, unless you post a piss load of personal information they have to subpena RIU to get your IP then they'd have to subpena your isp to turn that IP into subscriber information. I'm not sure how hard it would be to get a warrant with nothing but posts. Instinct tells me they would then have to do some investigating. It would be easier to find a pissed off spouse or a low level weed dealer.

If they really wanted to screw you they would create an account and try to befriend you. They might offer to ship you seeds, or trade clones. Anything they could do to get you to incriminate yourself in real life.

They also might look for pictures with Geo-location data (particularly outdoor grows) because that is an easy bust. If they know a bit about computers it would not be hard to create a program that logs in and then slowly searches through threads for pictures with Geo-location metadata. It could then record basic information about that post and retain the picture as evidence. I've never heard of them doing this but it could be done.

I got busted for trading clones in the mail and now they want me to set people up to make the charges go away. So I hacked RIU the other day and gave the DEA all your information to save my own ass. JK. LOL

in canada now bill c-10 makes any grow over 5 plants worth it ...they are building the new jails as i type....manditory time now...:(

I was always under the impression that it was legal to medicate with ganja in Canada, I dont know why i thought this but did , so what are the actaul laws on the use of cannabis in canada, h and here in the U.K. the laws were changed in 2006 and they made cannabis c cat drug but after a couple of months they put it back too b cat, but now this Feb they have just given magerstates guidelines to follow For 9 plants or less a community sentence will be given were possible, HAPPY DAYS ALL ROUND
