cops pulled me over, please read and help

I was driving in a rough neighborhood where i own a rental home, anyway i see some cops at one of the intersection so i am on my best behavior. BTW i am not in possession nor trying to buy anything. So they pull behind me and im like wtf and then they pull me over. The first thing i ask is why i was pulled over and he refuses to answer until i give him my info. I dont have my license on me,in my other jeans dammit.
Anyway, he says i ran a stop sign, which i did not (and my passenger agrees) adn then tells me to step out of the vehicle. He gets in my face and tells me that this is a drug neighborhood and i tell him i was lost (i actually was). It is so obvious he pulled me over cuz i was white in a black neighborhood, and assumed i was trying to buy drugs.
So he writes me a ticked and he brings his senior officer with him back to my car (dude was obviously a rookie) I am so pissed and i ask for his sargent's name and the senior officer replies "sargent" he is being a smartass and i ask again and he ignores me.
I dont know what to do, my blood is boiling, this shit just happened 15 mins ago. All i got was two tickets, for stop sign and no licence on me. Please advise me on what i should do. Thanks for listening

Nothing you can do about this, except waste some time in court trying to fight it. Make them give you their dash camera footage. Maybe you'll get lucky and it'll show you did stop.

Would be worth going back to see if any CCTV cameras cover that intersection, if you can catch them out then do it.

If you're a good liar you could try bluffing him by saying you have video and does he want to tear up the tickets or take it to court.

fuck the tickets, i am more pissed that he profiled me and pulled me over for no reason trying to find drugs. The cops were both such douchbags, and they wonder y everyone hates cops.

well if he gave u a ticket obiouslly u have his badge number call and file a complaint aginst him and got to court make sure ur friend goes with u so he can testify that u did stop and tell them the judge what happened exactly or contact a lawyer and ask them what can be done but honestly cop do this shit all the time it fuken ridiculous that they do but whats stopping them and sorry for my poor grammer and spelling

That sucks man, you should definitely ask for a copy of the police dash cam video.

you should have 24 hrs to produce your licence and give it to them with no ticket as for the stop sign court is the best idea most of the time they dont even show up and something as petty as a stop sign is a waste of their time. atleast thats how it works here in canada!

ok buddy heres what you do regardless what ppl say get a lawyer or how ever you spell it lol, and your friend as a witness and contest against them in court for the stop light ticket try to get the stoplight cam video, theres not much you can do for the license ticket because you kinda scrwed yourself over on that. but if something ever happens again like this or if your pulled over try to be as pollite as possible even though it sucks it your best bet. hopefully i was helpfull enough, good luck man, let me know what happens

Hey babe. I was a professional driver in Texas, once upon a time. Back then, in my medium-sized city, we would either pay a lawyer to make the ticket go away, or we would ask for a trial BY JURY. If you ask for a trial, make dead sure that they don't give you a piece of paper to sign that says you waive your right to a jury trial. They tried to sneak that one in on me, but I caught it. If you ask for a jury trial, there is a decent chance that you'll never hear about the ticket again. At least that is the way it used to work here. Also check the ticket for errors in your address or name, etc. That sometimes works for some people to get it thrown out. * * As far as doing something because he profiled you and pulled you over because he suspected that you were buying drugs...they have always done this, and they will always do this period. It is not going to stop no matter what you do, and unless you have millions of dollars to your name, or an attorney that will work for free and someone to pay your other legal fees, you're not going to get anywhere accusing them of profiling etc. Personally, I wouldn't worry about the profiliing. Rather, I would just be thankful I didn't have any medicine in the car at the time. Not judging, just saying.

Others have said to ask for the dashcam footage, and check the intersection in question for cameras. Both are very good ideas IMO. And remember, if you didn't come to a full stop at the stop sign (stop the car, count to three), the cop can say you ran it. It doesn't matter that NO ONE comes to a full stop at the lights.

LOL, your mad at being profiled one time. I wish you could be black for one month and see how many times you get profiled, you would be AMAZED. But there is nothing you can do about it. Just look at it as a friendly reminder that majority of cops are dicks.

I hate defending cops.

When a cop pulls over a driver without a license, that is a huge red flag for them. They are trained to be immediately suspicious of drivers without id.

Never argue with a cop. Never. You will always lose that argument. Say 'Yes, sir' and 'No, sir' when answering questions. Know your rights and politely assert them if such a situation comes up. If your rights are infringed, sign a formal complaint after the incident.

Thats what I hate about this form of "authority"! Cops fucking work for us! We pay them! A fucking GED and no felonies? WTF?!? But if a cop (wife beating, child molesting, STD spreading, ignorant, dip shit!), is killed, a person will almost definately get the thrill. But if a cop kills a heart surgeon (hella smart, years of school, entire job and purpose is SAVING lives), not a GOD DAMN THING HAPPENS! Fuck BART, cops, etc

First thing to do is call an attorney and tell him EVERYTHING. Dont lie or exaggerate either. They will take it to court and get it dismissed.

fight it and bring in a box of DO-NUTsgo up to the stand with a mouth full and when its your turn to talk, stuff another in your mouth and talk as much shit as possible with out them being about to understand you. and then go out guilty and wink at the rookie cop on the way out

You have 30 days to resolve the ticket, around 28-30 days go to the court house and plead not guilty. You will be given a courtdate around a month later. About 3-4 days before the court date call/go to the court house to tell them about some logical reason why you can't make it (death,or illness usually involved=) You will be issued another court date about 30 days from then, go to it with your facts straight and odds are the cops won't even be a credible witness to the case (What he can't remember important details from 3 months ago?) make him prove your guiltyness, and you don't even have to (don't wan't to) testify against yourself..... He won't have enough evidence to prove your guiltyness and if you don't talk, you don't incriminate yourself= you go free and get to smirk at him as you grab the dismissed paper from the public traffic hearing officer (yup, u usually don't even get a real judge)

This just sounds like a lesson for the rookie. teach him how to imtimidate and humiliate. if you got the bucks fight it. but think about the next time you are in their area. a lot of people in Oz are pretty peeved of by getting done by revenue producing speed and red light cameras. so they are fitting there own cameras in their cars recording to hard drive. you can pick these up for less than a speeding ticket. a few cameras with sound, one pointing at the satnav one out front and one out the rear. mount them so they can't be seen. they could also save your butt if you can't produce a wittness in an accident.
