Could I make some hash?

Hey guys, I''ve got about a half ounce of mids that seem to produce quite a bit of powdery kief when i rub my fingers on it. I was wondering if i could compress this kief into a block and make some decent quality hash, i do not have a kief box though. How could i easily extract the kief out of this bud to make some hash?

Just throw it as extra in a blunt, you won't be able to get a noticable amount of hash from it.

If you insist though, a quick and dirty way is to put it in a bowl with ice, stirr for a while, remove the waste, let it sink, siphon the water off carefully, let it dry, and scrape the result off the bottom.
