could I use coco or perlite with a waterfarm?

Hello everyone.
I was thinking of using a waterfarm for the 1st time.
But I was thinking of using coco or 100% perlite instead of hydroton.
Would this work?
If so would I leave the drip on 24/7 or set a timer and water for a few minutes at a time?

Why would you want to? The waterfarm is a RDWC system and the drip ring has to be on to aerate the water. You want the reservoir to provide the nutrients and the oxygen. If you do that than why not just grow in coco?

I mean I have a 4 week old plant in coco.
I water alittle everyday, suppose to be like hydro.
She is about 6 inches tall at 4 weeks old. Really

If your plant is only 6" tall at 4 weeks old, you are definitely doing something wrong. Coco isn't like hydro - it is hydro.
This plant is 4 weeks old, grown in a 70/30 coco/perlite mix and fed every day from sprout.
