you should be good to go, however you will need to have nutrients and ph +/- along with a ph and ppm meter

and lights of course

sorry for the delay. are you asking to keep the 400w light in the same room as the plants? you will want a MH bulb for vegging and a MPS bulb for flowering

hello, i currently have a soil garden and was wondering if this could be a good idea for a begining try in hydro... if i were to buy this could i just plug in and grow or will i be running into problems with this??? thanks for the infom, love these threads!:-P
That system cost's 50 bucks shipped. You could probably build 2 of them yourself for around 70 bucks. Those buckets are so easy to build a cave man can do it. Do you have a hydro store nearby?

Buckets 8 bucks a piece.
Net pot lids 5 bucks a piece.
Air pump 10 bucks a piece.
Air stones 3 bucks a piece.
10 lb bag of hydroton 10 bucks
Air tube 3 bucks

You could build one for 35 bucks and use the 15 bucks you have left over for your nutrients.

Just trying to save you a little money.
