Come on now he "may" have been in an intense game of hide 'n seek.
Don't put it past the police or the media to liken just being in your house with the door locked as "Hiding".

When cops are busting down your door in a surprise arrest adrenalin flow turns on the flight or fight response. While in flight or fight response, your brain loses most of it's rational functions. Just hiding from the cops can't be construed as guilty.

You don't know if there was a title or not, the story doesn't give that info out. If stolen cars are never purchased by people, then why do people steal them in the first place? I will tell you why. Because people knowingly purchase stolen shit all the time.

The story also never mentions who was driving the car or where the car was located, other than it "Was driving down the road".
What? I knew people that stole cars, they didn't sell them to a regular person they sell them to chop shops. There's a difference between knowingly purchasing something stolen you can get away with, versus going to jail because you were stupid enough to buy something stolen you can't get away with.

NoDrama I can see what you're saying though, there are many variables and we don't have all of the information yet.

He got charged with neither, I chalk it up to media sensationalism.

Would you be surprised to know that the media has mass influence on popular opinion?
I'm really not interested at all in discussing whether or not so and so did it. It's not my concern. I assumed that there was some sort of physical evidence of sexual assault, since it doesn't sound like the old man was in any condition to account as a witness. So I assumed rape, because of the premise of implied physical evidence of sexual assault.

And I'm well aware of media sensationalism. You sure do love to act like you're smarter than everyone you talk to, though. It's kind of annoying. Just fyi.

"Modrama" strikes again...

P.S. I made a passing comment about what I think about someone who rapes old ladies, and that really has nothing to do with fingering Mr. Suspect. In fact, I'm pretty sure I'm just some guy on the internet who commented on the idea that someone raping old ladies during home invasions is obviously suffering mental illness of some sort. In fact, I'm pretty sure it doesn't even matter what I said because my opinions won't come into relevant light or be considered along the way in this fellow's legal process at all. In fact, I'm pretty sure what you said is irrelevant for similar reasons. Cheers.

ZOmg the gov't was RIGHT all along!! Look at his eyes ... obviously deranged by the abuse of Indian Hemp. And, true to form, went after the first white woman he could find. What a horrible nasty drug and thank goodness for our prisons, because only they can maintain our great nation's moral fabric. cn

Over 1000 world war 2 vets die daily. I feel so bad for this man, and expect him to pass soon also. Animals need cages. Evil needs death.

This animal has obviously been in some eye bustin altercations in his past. I would hope he takes his own life, to spare that of anothers.

was he hiding? or was he just there sitting on the couch chilling thinking about how lucky he was to get a cheap Neon from one of the guys he knows? When someone says he was "hiding" is that substantiated? There is more to this case than meets the eye.
You are officially an asshole. Is it at least warm in there? Something to make up for being such an ugly unloveable POS?

I wish the older gentleman had blasted the fuck out of that kid.

Oh I see, you meant nothing by saying he was sick for raping an old lady, it was a random comment and had nothing to do with this thread? Did I get that about right?

There was more than one person involved. You guys aren't very good at reading comprehension are you?

Well and often when things are reported "we" the people are not given the actual details most of the time...like if you say we brought you in on home invasion and sexual assault against an elderly woman...and that kid jumps up and says I didn't rape no old lady...but you did rob the house? Convicted on own testimony...and all because the police gave out false info to perhaps help them catch the perpetrators of crimes...this happens often...we don't know what really happened..anymore than the cops do...the dead woman knows but there are some serious issues with her testimony showing up in court...so we really don't have the details...nor do they matter...in America that kid is guilty for being arrested and that is enough to get him put away for at least a little while...

This clears up a lot of questions for me. http://www.tulsaworld.com/site/printerfriendlystory.aspx?articleid=20120316_450_0_Anyear817332&PrintComments=1
Now that the story is a bit more clear, Tyrone looks pretty damned guilty.

They haven't gotten the others yet.

With the charges they're slapping on him, while he's on probation for two previous counts of burglary, I'll bet you $10,000 he's already squealed the other people's names over and over and over again.
