Cover Pots for Humidity Control

I have a UC6XL RDWC from current culture and I’m having trouble controlling humidity. I’m in week 6 of 7 and the best I can do is 45% RH.

To get to 45% at night I have an ac unit running to achieve 62degF and a 70 pint per day dehumidifier. My 9x5 tent is sealed.
How can I get my humidity down?

My theory is the RDWC is bubbling humidity through the hydroton. If I cover the pots with panda film or plastic will that help reduce humidity?

Where are you trying to get your humidity to and why? 62 at night is a bit cool.

Find a copy of a vpd chart. You will see if you raise your temps, the ideal band for humidity also goes up. I'm up at 65% in veg, and the plants are doing fine. Less a/c, less power, win.

I don't know rwdc, so can't tell if cutting off airflow would cause unwanted consequences. But the plants will be happy at a higher humidity if the air was warmer.

30% and eventually as close to 0% as I can during the flush. The low humidity creates extra resin and the cold temps help firm up buds and encourage color changes like purple.

Im in week 6 of 7 and growing Indica and my uc instructions at the link told me to. I’m also using this for humidity reference. Page 43
