Nothing going on yet at all.... Three weeks spraying.

Think I might have to abandon this.

Wonder what I did wrong

You didn't do anything wrong, its more like, who wronged you? If that was real colloidal silver you would have seen some changes by now. In my studies on this subject, I've learned that most of the colloidal silver on the market is really ionic silver, and does not have the same effect on our beloved plants.

It would seem like the only way to ensure that the colloidal sliver is the real deal is to make it yourself. There's lots of tutorials on how to assemble an inexpensive rig or you can even buy a colloidal silver generator online for a reasonable amount. That's the path I've chosen to take the next time I attempt to reverse one of my ladies, DIY the colloidal silver.

Well I sprayed for 3 weeks, 1 week before flip, and 2 weeks after the flip to 12/12, then stopped cold turkey, and it appears to have worked. Ive got ALOT of sacs forming, the entire branch every bud site.

Mind you im a noob amd this is even my first ever grow so my eyes on what i think im seeing aren't developed.

Ill post a pic of the top cola tip of the branch i sprayed with colodial silver, and the top cola of anothet branch of the same plant

Id really love some information on a timeline to let these sacs mature before plucking them to pollenate another female plant. I really dont want them pollinating this entire tent

I cant remember im thinking in less then two weeks they should start popping open but not 100% sure plus mine was a male plant maybe a little different with a cross male

Congrats on growing balls lol. I have no experience with this, but in a regular male it's like 2/3 weeks. Maybe you'll get a better answer soon.

Thank you friend, to be honest I almost lost hope, I expected them to form a little sooner and expected to visually seem something after the 2nd week of still spraying, but after checking my post dates, it only appears to have been a week since I stopped spraying and the balls seem pretty well dfined and healthy looking, but I will have to watch them closely to watch there maturity, I will surely have alot more pollen than I have use for, but that just means I dont have to use it sparingly on the plant/branch I pollenate, I can hopefully dust it liberally.

I always save a male just long enough to get really close I cut it ( top half ) use a little rooting powder, and a diy bubble cloner with a spot light sporting a 3000k 95w led, that I cut the defuser off with a hacksaw, remove the baffle. Move the plant to another room and finish it off, cut one limb and dust some lower limbs on a few females, cross your fingers. Anyway it works for me most of the time, but not every time.

Edit: Considering what you have invested in your plant I probably wouldn't use a risky method like the one I described, maybe just move to another room to finish.

The pollen sacs will start filling up getting fatter and then start hanging down and changing color. You'll notice when they start.
Here is one that has just opened on a small auto flower

from this plant

I also have a regular male just starting flowering this past week as well looks very close to yours.

Oh yeah remember you can prune off those males flowers you do not want to grow, also you can cut off a branch and stick it in water by a window or another light and it will continue to grow out the flowers. Then when it's close you can move the flowers out of the area and let them finish.

So since Im trying to let them fill with pollen, but not explode inside this tent, should I cut the entire branch off when a few of them look ready and pump regardless of some being undeveloped, and manually opening and collect the pollen, or should I pluck them off as they appear to ripen.

Is there a best way to open and extract the pollen, you kinda lost me on the sitting them in the window part

I think uberknot in his last post some what described the same thing as I did, kinda like cloning but just keeping the branch hydrated long enough to mature. Either way if you don't want to risk pollinating the whole grow your going to have to move the male. Other than that I don't have much to offer. I wish you luck.

I will say that when I chuck pollen I cut the fan off because that shit floats like crazy.

And you have to pollenate a different female for sure? What I mean is siince I am creating the sacs on just this one branch, I still have 3 other branches on this same plant that are flowerring female, it would make the process very easy to isolate if I could simply pollenate the other branches on the same plant, basically just segregrade the whole plant and let the male branch pollenate the other branches.

But I believe I read that it is not allowed to be on the same plant.

I have never done it so I can only share what I read on the technique.

I think it is OK to pollenate the same plant, if you have time for the seeds to mature. It's debatable if there is enough time in one flower cycle, but I guess you could harvest the bud's when there ripe, and then let the seeded flowers continue to mature until the seeds are ready.

You can pollinate the same female.....that's what I am doing.

Another thing to remember is they throw pollen earlier than the female makes all her flowers so you can pollinate some and then remove the male. I have collected seeds twice off the same plant.

Like I said if you can catch one flower just getting ready you can barely touch the bottom and it will drop a little pollen. As far as removing a branch you would do it like you would roses or any other flowers.

Two seed batches from one female.

first batch pre flowers pollinated with a male early .

second batch I pollinated a couple flower sites for fem feeds.

Well thats going to make this process much easier then if I can pollenate the same plant these pollen sacs are forming on. After dusting it in pollen I will keep it isolated a few days, mist with water, and then return to the flower tent to start seed development

If I collect pollen within 2 weeks from tonight (guessing? can you "ballpark" a timeline from my pic) that means I could pollenate when she is about 5 weeks into flower, might have to keep the plant alive a little longer than when the rest of this tent will be harvested.

I dont need a million seeds, but a hundred would be great

I'll take two, and call you when there done lol. Just kidding good luck. I can't wait to see how they turn out, it's been fun, thanks for putting up with me lol.

Id defintely be gifting them to friends/acquantances. I dont know how many to expect from a healthy 18" plant with 3 full branches dedidcated to seeding, but I probably wouldnt use more then 25/year myself. But I have no problem basically sacrificing this plant for the better good of this science project

Bonus they are feminised seeds!!
