Looking good Morris. I expected the CJ to be taller. They all look nice and healthy! Stay Crunchy! Crunch*
Cheers man, I did expect them to get a little taller aswell actually, just now the tallest is about 33 inches tall and the smallest isabout 24". Tbh there is a big flaw in the way I'm doing my autos, this is the second time around I've had nutrient problems, so its likely that my girls arent reaching thier full potential.

Hey Morris haven't tried dinafem seeds before but have cj auto and c+ auto on order if I manage to finally get them... Second resend...And have free blue widow and blue hash seeds coming with them also... Grew a skunk outdoor last year which was nice but not real potent... A mellow old Skool smoke... Only autos I have done was years ago was original lowryder and blueberry cross... Fun but hoping these strains are a better smoke... I would love to do a Amnesia or critical + outdoors

You like dinafem? What others have u tried?

Hope your seeds make it to you this time, Dinafem are a favourite of mine. Personally I have ran Critical Jack Autofem once in the past, loved it so am running it again as you know. CJ was a good smoke, heavier smokers will notice its not the strongest of stuff but still is a great smoke I tried Origional Amnesia Fem (Photoperiod) and it was knock your socks of stuff, frostiest I'v ever grown and very potent and flavourful. I havent personally grown it out yet but have seen and smoked their OG Kush now and it was amazing aswell - really quality bud formation. I currently have 2 OG Kush seedlings, they have the Dinafem vigour for sure.

I Plan to try many more of thier strains, I'll defo be buying some Amnesia Auto and Moby Dick Auto seeds, perhaps a few Haze autos aswell. As far as The photoperiods go I think its almost hard to go wrong with thier strains. Cloud9, Moby Dick, Critical+ and Critical Jack are currently on the shortlist.

Lookin primo in there bud. How are they since the transplant?

I'm a Dinafem fan so far. Ran their Moby Dick photo, probably my favorite smoke right now. I have a couple of their autos that I haven't run yet too. (Haze, Cheese and White Cheese) Their strains all look good and I've seen no complaints about instability or poor quality, most people seem to do really well with them. From the strains they offer, it seems like they have awesome White Widow, Haze, and Critical parents to breed with and focus largely on making the best strains they can with those. Not a bad strategy if Im right.

By the way, your journal finally got to be too much for me and my child-like excitement, tossed one of my CJ beans into soil the other day. Shoulda waited till my PE auto is further along so I dont have two full-size autos where I can hardly fit one, but i'll figure all that out later :bigjoint:

So-so amigo, yellowing of fan leaves actually did spread a bit more and seems to have halted a bit now. These plants are really amazing but I'm beginning to wonder if its just a strain that yellows early on in flower. The first time around the exact same thing happened yet the plant went on to perform very well. I'll get an update sorted very soon for you to see :)

Welcome to the Critical Jack club!

I have a feeling the Kosher Kush is actually one of those cup winners that isnt a total 1/100 pheno selection or whatnot, I kind of wish I could try some of the smoke to see what its like, not enough kushes going round these parts! Sometimes we have to take matters into our own hands eh :)

<Day 40>

This is the third time I have typed this out. Comp crashed the first time, and some wierd glitch happened the second and I lost it again. Going to make it shorter now :(

Ok yellowing of Fan-leaves spread up to about the top 3-4 sets and stopped. I have pruned away a decent amount of the yellow/shrivelling stuff to let in more light to the lower reachers where there are still good amounts of nodes to stimulate.

I read CJ is an early yellower so I'm not so concerned anymore. I have been feeding the girls well and have even verged on nute burn twice so if good feeding and a repotting cant stopp the yellowing I'm not sure what can. My soil and nutes are pre-ph'd and I pH my tapwater.

The bud production is now stepping up and the suppercropped CJ is currently the fattest cola of the lot. The C+ is probably the most impressive structured plant of the lot with some serious side branching.

Smell is getting intense but the scrubber is still dealing with it. I'll do a resin scratch and sniff test for the next update. So far I havent so much as touched a trich.

I'm gona post the pics to go with this update in the next post (a bout 10min after this post)

Thanks for checking in, only 3-4weeks to go!

Looking good man! I can't wait to see harvest pics... I'm sure you're more excited about that than I am though, hahaha. I have had awesome results from everything I've ever grown that was dinafem! I have some Dina White Widow that I'm going to break open after this run..

<Day 47>

There are a few reasons I have left a week gap between updates. Firstly I havent had access to the nice camera I use and secondly the plants have been loosing alot of leaves and its a bit disheartning to see. So for this post I had to use a normal digital camera, I havent done a great job with the pics.

So yeah alot of leaf loss, I would say the girls have now shed about half of thier leaves. They probably dont look much like the same plants from 1-2 weeks ago. It just kind of freaks me out a little as they are being fed to the best of my abillities.

The CJs are more productive, not by that much but it is noticable. Critical is a definate winner in terms of height. The CJ buds are simply growing at a faster rate and into larger round buds than the more cone shaped critical+ ones. In addition it seems like the C+ is forming a smaller main cola than the CJs.

After doing a scratch and sniff test yesterday I made the following highly subjective notes:

CJ1- lemon, fresh, dry wood (pine perhaps)
CJ2- citrus fruits, sativa(thai), wood
CJ3- lemon, sweet, fruity
C+ - Perfume? floral, citrus

The plants are now really stinking. A heavy dank smell is escaping from my scrubber increasingly every day. I can tell that I woulnt get away with drying this stuff in a dark cuboard - its going to have to be dried in my tent with the scrubber.

A few red hairs here and there so the final bulge is upon us, just over 2 weeks to go. A rough estimate at yeild might be along the lines of 1ounce per plant dried, give or take. I expect this to increase by around 50% over the next two weeks.

That's normal man, mine don't do that because I feed more nitrogen in flower than what's recommended (probably hurts my yield but I don't really care.) You're growing exactly how you should if harvest/potency are your concerns (which makes the most sense, hahaha.) Don't get discouraged or judge either of them yet, I have always seen plants put on the most of their weight during the last 2 weeks of flower... I think you'll do pretty well man.

hehe I guess you sort of feel the same way as me, dont like to see your plants yellow early. As its all for personal yeild isnt my main concern, I might try increasing nitrogen for my next autos. I'll be sure to look into it.

Aye I'm quietly hoping for a good next 2weeks aswell, I know that my girls have the potential to look like this after 65days. IMG_0025.jpg

Btw, do you have any opinion on doing the DIY CO2 thing in the last 2weeks of flower? I was considering getting a few 2litre bottles, cutting the tops of of them and then filling with vinigar and baking soda. A friend of mine uses CO2 tanks and he gets really nice yeilds.

Trich shot for y'all. Take this trich shot with a digital camera pressed up against a 30x jewlers loops. It actually provides more detail than the DSLR I use.

I cant seem to upload pictures properly. I cant see them after I have uploaded to click on them and make them display at full size - anyone else having this problem?

Nice picture man! It almost looks like the resin glands are holding the leaf up in the air bc of the shadow next to it. I keep all of the little leafs like that that come off of my nugs, I've gotten pretty high from those little puppies from some varieties. My regular Critical+ made so many trich's on the little leafs (about like your autoflower) that I had a massive collection of pure keif that I pressed into hash and smoked. It was really easy, I just let them dry out completely (like beyond crunchy), then I put it into bags and squished 'em to crunch up the shake until it turned into almost a powder. Then you can shake the bag back and forth, or use a screen and get all of the trichomes out of the leafy stuff. It's awesome, mine had a pure blonde color but I guess that'd just depend on what point it was harvested.

I haven't had that uploading problem yet... I have had problems with captcha (<---I don't know how to spell it.) .. after I've written a post and click "reply" or "post quick reply" it will try to "verify that I'm human" by going to a captcha first, but it never loads the letters/numbers that it wants me to type in. So I have to back out, lose all of the info I've typed... and hope for better luck next time. It really sucks after I've spent a good while writing a really long post- then, BAM! Capchka! It's oh so very annoying.

I might be making some kief related products with my trim, your way sounds nice and easy I must say. In the past smoking trim has been what keeps me from smoking any of the good bud before its cured, I remember the trim from Blueberry Gum (G13) just about melted my face. I mean its easy to absolutley load up a joint with the tiny leaves that are in reality plastered with trichs as it is. Now I have a decent sized harvest I'm much more up for going to the trouble of making some hash though. I dont want to smoke 4plants worth of trim, probs knacker my throat or sumin ^^

Cant say I've had the same problem as you with the forum, I find there are often small glitches that pop up here and there. Its rare they persist for long in my experience.

The girls are really swelling up today btw, I can see new hairs forming and alot now going red so hope to have some great bud shots for you in the comming few days :D

Co2 will increase your yield tremendously.. Most people say that the DIY doesn't produce enough Co2, but I would think that every little bit would count.. at least a little.
