A little veg update...The ladies were just to big now for the 3x3 tent so I ordered a 5x5 and it came the other day and they are absolutely loving it.IMG_20160501_105751.jpg

Decided to do the dual spectrum thing two 600's crank down to 50% brightness.IMG_20160501_105425.jpg

Even though I'm used to this type of growth now it's still kind of crazy to see...First pic taken on March 29th second pic taken today!IMG_20160329_101024-COLLAGE.jpg

If anybody has a sharp eye they would have noticed in my last picture I had 6 plants vegging, then only four plants in the pic under it...The two that did not make it into the tent was destined for an outdoor grow so they were transplanted once into solo cups with the rest of the other plants, but once it was time for another transplant from solo cups to 5 gallon pots they were left in solo cups and placed outside...Where they wait desperately for a transplant now which I promised them today will be coming soon.IMG_20160501_125234.jpg

I'm curious how these ladies compare in size at flip to the ones you posted the videos of in late flower ( beautiful work btw ) ? It looks like this new round has smaller pots maybe? Mine had to go in a 3gal sadly, it's all I had :( , hope it doesn't stunt me too bad but I'm 10 days into flower so up potting now doesn't make much sense..

Here's a family photo of my ladies

PICT0001 (4).JPG

(Left is the Critical+ 2.0, front is the Cookies Kush, and right/back is the Critical Kush)

kinda expected more stretch for 10 days from flip, maybe it's the dual spectrum?

PICT0005 (3).JPG

All 3 are bushy to the point of it being a PITA lol, but I'm kinda waiting a week or so (for more stretch) to trim up under their skirts. Good idea or bad?

One more shot of just the Crit Kush, my instinct is to get rid of the lower 1/3 or so soon...

Critical Kush are usually not that big by week 6 because this is more like a 10 - 12 week flowering strain in my opinion...So usually around day 45 the budding should really start to pick up....But it all depends you might have fuck something up so you just have to wait and see...This is what mine looked like at the beginning of week 6.

Thanks...Mine were a pretty decent size at flip probably about 20 inches tall, I always use 10 gallon smart pots for flowering...Wow 3 gallon pots are really going to limit their potential.

The dual Spectrum definitely helps keep the stretch down, but they don't stretch much initially I put my plants into flower at about 20 inches and they ended up at about 40 at the end of flowering...Here's a picture of my plants the day I went into flowering.

Yea just the Crit Kush is in a little pot, but this round was always meant to be a tester run anyway so it just kinda got the short straw (I paid for the other 2 beans) which of course means it's the best smelling and healthiest of the 3 ;)

When do you pot up to the 10s? I tend to do most of my veg in my final pot, but lately I'm feeling like my rootzone size/health is killing my yield. On the advice of some wise ones around here I've added kelp to the veg feed, too soon to tell but they ain't mad at it lol. The few times I've stepped up over 7gal I just get a lot of unused medium soaked in nutes and half a rootball , so I'm hoping with better feeding and up potting habits I can get a nice big rootball going to get the big fruits :)

I go from solo cups to 5 gallon pots, then the 10 gallon smart pots to finish, so from seed it's about 40 days until they go in the smart pots, then a week later I flower...Can't go wrong with adding kelp, I add beneficial bacteria, beneficial fungi, all types of good shit, lol, so I get pretty explosive root growth...Look at these they are on day 42 from sprout and there dying for a transplant out of these 5 gallon pots.IMG_20160504_221718.jpg

Cool man, I'm gonna try to change my pot up routine next time I think. I was going from solo to 1 gal then to final 5-7gal pot, but I think the first short jump in size then a big jump next is part of my problem.. I like the idea of vegging in a 5 then jumping up to a 10 for flower, I can see how that would be great for growth, basically double my rootmass..

Those veg ladies look great, mine popped about 8 weeks ago and isn't that big ;).

How you do it sounds fine to me, last grow of CK I went from solo cups to 1 gallon pots but they outgrew those 1 gallon pots in about 10 days so this time I just went straight to 5 gallon pots...How you pot up depends on root growth before I started using all these beneficials I would never have to use 10 gallon pots 5 gallon pots were usually good enough for flowering.

Man great job, way to set the bar high ;) . They look like they chunk up real nice, that's gonna be some nice weight.
Thanks, I know the harvest weight is going to be ok but definitely not what I'm looking for because of so many problems...My goal in my 5x5x7 with 1200w is to have four plants and get at least 2 pounds, haven't achieve that goal yet but I have a good feeling this next time around.
