Hey all,
I'm new to both growing cannabis and this forum, so since I've gone through a lot of posts of people taking photos of their plants and asking forum experts for advice, I thought I should do the same since I have a feeling there's a ton of grower's knowledge I'm missing
I started my plant from a seed I found in some sativa flowers I got at a local dispensary. I have no clue which strain it actually is, but I'm pretty sure it's a sativa since that's what I smoke. When the seed sprouted I was surprised and enamored, so I decided to push it all the way with a (somewhat) proper setup and plant care. I bought a 4'x4' tent, a cheapo 600W LED grow light from Amazon, together with fan + carbon filter setup. Soil is just cheap soil from Home Depot, I water with either filtered water or I add some MiracleGro (I used "all purpose" during veg, and the flowering additive later on) - every week or so I use the amount prescribed for indoor house plants. I don't have a pH meter so have no measurements of that whatsoever. The tent keeps humidity between 55-75%, and the temperature is around 70-75F. I did top the plant twice, but as you can see in the pictures it still grew quite tall and lean. I've removed different leaves all throughout the plant's life, and this latest "look" is essentially me trying to remove as many leaves from the middle of the plant, so they don't deprive lower buds from getting enough light.
In these photos the plant is just about to complete 6 full weeks since I switched to 12-12 schedule.
Any comments? I'd love to hear them!
