crooked hood and low temps

I have a closet im growing in. 90 inches high x 43 inches long x 20 1/2 inches deep. i am also doing scrog. i have been vegging 2 females with LST for 7 weeks in 5 gallon pots of FFOF, along with all FF nutes, under 100 real watts of CFL each. As of yesterday they are under a 400 watt hortilux en HPS in a air cooled 20 1/4 long x 21 wide x 7 1/2 tall yeildmaster 2 classic hood with a cropmaster 400 watt hps ballast. cooled to attic by a 500 cfm inline fan. and still in veg. My questions are.... if my temps are at 65 with the glass in place would it be worthwhile to take the glass off the hood so the temps rise and in doing so having to raise the light. the light is also a little crooked because the inside door frame of the closet wont allow the hood to properly squeez in. is there something better i could do other than let the bud sites under the higher side of the hood grow higher than the lower side.( cause im doing scrog). the intake of air is negative from the under door gap by the way.

Any advice at all will help, thankx
