cropping the tops

Ok so fitst question is what are others opinions on topping outdoor grows. Plants are about 4 foot tall and was thinking i should top the plants to make them more dense. Second question is are you able to use the top that was cut off and use it for a clone?

If it's outdoors in a spot with LOTS of direct sunlight, I'd leave it alone and let it fill out on its own.

Just cutting off top wont make it split into 2 nodes...if thats what your getting at...Yes you can take the most healthiest cuttings and make a clone from it. On some strains or phenos you may want to top them outdoors to make them grow bushy
