Crumbly leaves

my vegging planta really don’t look great. I had a problem with under-watering not long ago, started to water more (350ml about every 3days in 1.72gal pots) and I’ve top dressed with the recommended dose of gaia green 444 3days ago. Their leaves won’t stop to go brown and crumbly.. 78F stable air, 76F stable leaves and 60-65° humidity, so should be right on the money for vpd…

350ml every three days is nearly nothing. 3 times that every day may help you.

Should I water even if the pot still isn’t light? Or just water 3x more every time I water?

Maybe watering from the bottom is something OP should look into. Looks like the same chronic under watering that was pointed out in the last thread. Have a feeling the medium never really gets fully saturated.

What medium? Decent soil properly cooked alone should have plenty of nutrients at this stage. For this situation I’d add aloe to the water and completely soak over the course of an hour. I owe maybe 2-3 Tbs squeezed out of the leaf and mix, I don’t think you can add too much. Another trick to fix moisture retention is add Castile soap to your water. Good luck, and when you get it fully saturated lift the pot, that’s how heavy it should feel after watering.

I’m growing in gaia green primal earth, so living soil. Thanks a lot for the tips, will add some aloe to my water and make sure to saturate the soil with it.

Water it slowly, painstakingly slow….as in go around the outer 1-2” and let it soak in for 5-10 min.
Then hit it again but extend the water closer to the center.
Do this, outside working in, w/ as much time between as u can stand.
Do this until the entire medium is soaked, but u DO NOT want runoff. I’ll always water until I get a few drops but no more. This lets me know that it’s completely soaked.
My plants in 5gal pots usually handle 1-1.25 gallons of water before it starts running off.
Then them dry out but not bone dry. You’re running an organic grow, so U want a certain level of moisture.
If you’re not PH’ing, U may wanna start.
I’ve used Gaia Green forever…..and had great grows in soil, straight coco, KokoBop and about everything in between. In their soil I’d vary my PH input but keep it in the 6.3-6.8 range.
There’s no way those plants don’t get with it, if you do what I’ve said.
If your VPD & lighting is halfway decent, they’ll get dialed in and bounce.
