Curing after a couple months.

I had a bit of bud in a jar and burped it once a week for a couple months.

A few months have now passed - maybe three since I last burped it, as I forgot the jar.

Would it still be safe to smoke? I don't think I see any wetness or mold, but just making sure.

Yea once its dry and when you haven't burped in a while and its still not wet to the touch its fine to be stored for awhile. I bet it'll taste great if you left it curing for that long.

Once the RH inside the jar gets into the low 60's or below, I think it's fair to say the risk of mold is nil and burping becomes unnecessary. The bud will continue to cure above 55%.

It could be 3 years old and as long as it isn't moldy it's safe to smoke. As long as it's stored the right conditions you'd be surprised how long it will actually last.
