curing question

Mr I Can Do That For Half
I open my jars twice a day for 5 minutes for 3-5 days depending on how big the buds were and then cure 30 day minimum. Uusally 3-5 days the buds are dry enough good snap but dont crumble and smell is strong not hay as that mean moisture still. After the 5 days they get closed up and stored in a cool dark dry place for 30-60 days then I enjoy.

I think your main problem is the buds were not completely dry. You said earlier that you got mold in one plant which is usually caused by jarring or bagging before the bud is thorougly dry. I had that problem when I first started growing. Buds had the high but not the taste. To cure that problem, i started letting my buds hang to dry at least 2 weeks before jarring. You cant go by what other people tell you as far as dry times because every grow is different. The temp; humidity, darkness, circulation, ventilation is different where everyone dries the bud. Your task is to fine tune your drying and curing process for your grow. Those buds sometimes may seem very dry to you, but they will almost always gain a little moisture when you put them in the jar, mainly in the first few days, thats where the burping comes in, and look people. burping is a simple process. Just undo the jars and reseal every few hours for the first few days untill the bud is at a firmness and dryness you like. If you seal the jars and the buds do not regain moisture, then you probably want to keep it sealed and in a few days they should be fine.
