Howdy people.

I don't if anyone can help but I've missed managed my time
and am worried as i'm off on hoiliday for a week in 3 weeks time. I'll dry her for a week maybe 5 days and then curl her for a week before i go. Obviously I can't ask anyone to pop in every day to pop the jars nor can I take it with me.

Will it be ok left for a week ??
Or is there a work around ??

Thanks in advance

Rushing the drying and curing process is a waste of your entire grow IMO. If your buds have dried and are past the jar burping stage then you will be fine to leave them in jars for a week with the lid on. If not you will have nasty tasting, nasty smelling and moldy buds when you get back from your holiday. I always give myself at least an extra three weeks to a month grace when planning holidays close to harvesting a crop so I am not rushing the most important part of the grow. Good luck!

Hello Mr.G. Thanks for your response.
Well i do normally always never rush things and dry slowly and cure thoroughly for as long as my patience can wait.
Fingers crossed.
I wondered if someone had invented a jar with a motorized open/close lid on a timer :)

Well as long as you get it dried enough so it stays dry inside the jars before you go then it will be fine to stay sealed...I dry mine on hangers for a week or so, then the nest week has lots of jar openings, but after that then I can leave it jarred for as long as I want and no change will occur

Or you can put it all in the freezer til you get back...then it neither gets too dry or molds.
