Curing

I read that when people are curing, they put there weed in mason jars let it sit in a cool dark place then they take it out for a hour a day. When they take it out, do you just open the jar lid and let it sit, or do you hang them up like the drying process, or do you just put it on something like your kitchen counter?

you just take the lid off and let it breath. if you see water on the glass or if you feel water when you run your finger along the inside, you may want to take them out for a while.

Before putting the buds into the mason jar. You want to dry them at low temps with no air being blown on them until the outside of the buds feel dry. I then put them into paper bags for 2-3 days, maybe more, burping them 2-3 times a day. Then I put them in the mason jars. Burping them once in the moring, and once at night for the first week, then once a day until I think they are done. Then they go into the freezer. I do this so they do not mold.
