So I’ve got a S5 haze cut off a friend of mine as a practice run as this is my first time growing, all things have been going pretty well but about a week ago/10 says leaves started developing weird burns on them.

She’s 6weeks 3 days into flowering using canna A&B canna Boost, Cannazyme & CalMag. Looking to Pk13/14 her at mid week 7 for 5 days then go straight into flush. grown in coco and pebbles. Under a 400wtt LED light (can’t remeber manufacturer off top of my head I’ll find out later) but a decent brand

All my PH’s have been correct, Room temp & humidity etc, I’ve been as precise as I can with everything for it being my first time, I never expected to get this far to be honest :)

I’m clueless so any suggestions would be greatly appreciated my fellow stoners :bigjoint:

If you followed the directions on the bottle to a t you probably burned your plants. Most nutrients don't need to go above half strength unless your plants are pretty big.

Thanks a lot matey! Yes I’ve followed everything as accurate as I could do which has probably been my undoing, do you think this will effect final product at all if I correct the issue at hand?

discard the pk boosters. your nutrients show a gradual decrease in ppm's towards finish. follow that and more water will be used per watering, less food, thats your flush
yes, everything you do affects the flowering process.
it grows to its weakest resource, if one is messed up, thats your limit.

At this point the damage that's there is done. Your bud will still be smokeable and fine. Definitely correct for what's going on, cut back on nutes to about half strength, til you're about 2 weeks from harvest and then just water them, when deficiencies show up try to only feed what you need. There's a lot of debate on whether flushing is good/bad/necessary personally I'm with chem, I taper down to about 1/4 strength according to the achedule (4-500 ppm by week 8 - my tap is 120ppm) and cut down on strong nutes around week 6 (this would include pk boosters and basically anything with a high npk value. Generally the last week or so the only thing my plants get are humic/fulvic acids, calcium if necessary, and a few carbs until my last few days to keep my microbes pushing along.

I'm not sure what full strength on canna nutes comes out to buy I know fox farms wants you to feed like 2500 ppm after the stretch which is absurd. I grew a single monster plant (like 10 weeks veg topped many times and trained) about a year ago, and even when she was hungry I never gave her more than 1500ppm. I always got like 600ish ppm in my runoff, I probably could have fed 1000 ppm and been fine. I would bet that very few strains would ever need more than 1500ppm.

That's just what works for me, I used to give 2 weeks of straight water with molasses once a week at the end. In terms of yield both are very similar. I think the humic/fulvic additions help push the last bit of nutes out and it's just barely enough to keep the plants going.

I still see a lot of fall colors towards the end but I also see a lot more praying up until the end too which leads me to believe even though they're deficient and dieing off they don't feel like they slammed into a brick wall after week 8.

Thanks a lot for the detailed replies and explanation guys it’s really helped me out here! muchas gracias :bigjoint: gonna go for 1/4 nute strength until flush from now on then! Hopefully her flowers don’t get effected too much!

Over 19-20 hours this is how the 3rd picture I posted has progressed, just and update for you all incase you were interested, obviously this leaf is gonna die now, do I just let them fall off?

Thanks a billion guys :weed:
