hmmm... my first guess is pH.
i remember using FN in my DWC system last run, they have buffers that's supposed to "balance" the pH. i always found it was just a pain. are you checking at all.
i check a little now and then, just to see if its close. looks well other than the little burn.

i have a guide in one of my books somewhere...
its a little graph Soil pH over Water pH
If soil pH is X, then water pH Y

i'll post it later.. my soil is said to be balanced at 6.5 so if my water passes the drop test and is roughly the proper "color" i go with it... occasionally maybe one drop or two of pH up or down... nothing else really. its soil, its not supposed to be fucked with as much as hydro.

Looks like a touch of nuteburn DW. Give them a flush and back off the nutes a bit I'd say.
That last pic is sweet, and the group shots look really promising. How's the smell in there now?

pH my brother. pH! odds are good your soil's pH is way off, it's getting a LOT of one nutrient and not much of another.
do you have a soil pH meter?

Merry Christmas DW.

Shack's right to harp on about ph. Get a kit & check what's happening with what goes in and what comes out. No point ruining a grow for the sake of a cheap test kit.

TBH I suspect the yellowing is just natural DW. All my grows were the same within 3 weeks of flowering under a straight red light. It's why I introduced the blue bulb and it helped a lot. I still got nice buds before though. As long as it's just the shade leaves that yellow and the buds stay green there should be nothing to worry about.
Sounds like the strain is a bit sensitive to nutes though. I'd flush until the damage stops getting worse then drop back to a level of nutes the plants were ok with for the rest of the grow.

so here they are as suggest i flushed them and cut back on the nutes they seem to be doing better but the damage has been done for the most part sadly enough but they still seem to be doing fine and getting nice and crystaly.:weed:

every plant has been treated the same and yet all 3 are so different makes me wonder...

photos....

each photo is one plant and a photo of its best bud...

mmm... those buds look pretty!! i hope my buds look half as good as those. aside from the burn on the leaves, the buds look like they are forming up nicely!! looks like they'll be a breeze when it comes time to trim as well.
keep doing what you're doing, i'm sure the 1/2 strength fertilizer is the key.

Uncle Ben had a good post, shooting down the pH myth for soil growers. Stop Blaming Issues on pH People!!
 definitely worth your time. good discussion thread in general.

They do all seemdifferent. May just be cos it's a new strain. Do you move them around under the light?
Any time I burn mine the damage seems to be restricted to the leaves, I bet all the buds are still pure green except for the frost.
There's still tons of good green vegetation, so they can all support continued blooming without a problem. Future still looks rosy to me DW.

Hey dopewear, starting up a grow very similar to yours in the near future, just wanted to say thanks for putting out such a solid grow log and keep up the good work :bigjoint:

peace out
