Should I cut the fan leaves below where I topped the plant at the second node? Not all I was going to keep the single blade and cut the triple blade leaves anybody have any experience with this I just feel as though the three blade leaves will take most of the energy from the plant to start back to new colas

Don't do it, how it is now is good, next time wait for another set or 2 of leaves and top preferably above the third growth point. You should be fine like that but definitely leave those leaves on there buddy.

Thanks I’ve had a lot of problems switching to soil honestly dwc hydro was easier to deal with I’ve had problems from drainage to fungus I’ve completely changed my set up 3 times to accommodate the problems and I’ve got one that was my biggest with only the water leaves and 5 stars on it oh and the new sprouts coming in the sides and top but I’m hoping she makes it she’had the first few sets drop off and dies so I clipped them bc they were just sucking up anything that the plant would need to survive and the rest seem to be doing good tho check it out and tell me if you think she’ll make it please... everything else on it was dead but The new top

Don’t clip fan leaves , hard to eat a steak with no arms right ? Clipping fan leaves after topping is just unnecessary stress. And your removing the leaves that will provide energy for the new growth,
