cutting clones

how long does it usually take you guys for your clones to root?

a few days - a few weeks

k, im shootin for 11 days or less so they can be on schedule with my sog

When are you sure its been toooooo long, cause I have one still trying to root, and its not had one root spike yet, and its been over three weeks. I used clonex and put one in a glass of water, one in dirt, and one in rockwool. They only one still surviving is the one that outside sitting in a cup of water out of direct sunlight. But no roots.

Depends of the method used and the strain on how fast they root.

some are harder to clone then others

I was gonna ask the same question... I had 5 clones all taken under water using clonex, etc, etc... Thought i'd put them in grow room after 8 days of looking very healthy under fluro tube in dome with heating pad underneath, and after a few hours they were completely collapsed/dead.

How do you put clones straight to flower if their too weak to handle 16/8 under 400w? I GUESS I didn't wait long enough?!?
